The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has trained 750 stakeholders on technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Speaking during a three week training organized by the Ministry in conjunction with Ogun State Economic Transformation Project(OGSTEP), the special adviser to the Governor in the Ministry of Education Prof. Abayomi Arigbadu said that the training was to improve learning and teaching activities, thus encouraging world standard educational system, he said the training was to key into the development strides of the current administration in the educational sector.
The project manager of OGSTEP Mr Fatai Osunsanya stressed that there is a need to motivate class teachers and key stakeholders in the education sector on new innovations and ways of imparting knowledge through science and technology, thus making it relevant for learners to favourably compete with contemporaries around the world.
Appreciating the government for the exercise, Mrs Adijat Tijani thanked the government, while emphasising that the exercise has helped shaped the processing of educational impartation..
