A round table on "Human development and cooperation in the field of personnel training with African countries" was held in the State Duma. The event was attended by representatives of government authorities, scientific organizations, state corporations and development institutes.
The round table was organized by the Expert Council on the Development and Support of Comprehensive Partnership with African Countries under the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation A.M.Babakov and the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education.
During the event, experts discussed the study of the needs of African countries in the field of personnel training; the development of joint programs and projects in the field of education for the training of qualified specialists; legislative initiatives aimed at simplifying the procedures for recognizing diplomas and creating conditions for the exchange of students and teachers.
The outcome of the event was a resolution, which included initiatives and proposals for the authorities developed as a result of the discussion.
