Cyril Ndifon has been suspended as the dean of Faculty of
law, over alleged sexual harassment.
On August 14,Some female students led by Comrade Benedict
Otu who is the President of Law Students Association (LAWSAN), demanded for the
immediate sack of the Dean of Faculty of law, Cyril Ndifon over alleged sexual
harassment.
In a chat with news men, the university Don expelled the
allegations defining the allegations as baseless and a calculated attempt to
tarnish his reputation. However, the Nigerian Bar Association has passed a
resolution to investigate the allegations.
The NBA NEC in a press statement, released on Saturday by
the publicity secretary Akorede Lawal, has set up an ad-hoc committee to
investigate the matter.
The university management in a letter signed by Gabriel Egbe, the University's registrar has suspended the dean of Faculty of law Cyril Ndifon over alleged sexual harassment.
