Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu believes that if Femi Falana and his son, Falz, ignore their conflict with social critic Very Dark Man (VDM), it might be seen as an admission of guilt regarding the allegations made against them. VDM had released an audio recording where Bobrisky claimed Falz’s father, Femi Falana, offered help in securing a presidential pardon for ₦10 million. Both Falana and Falz denied the accusations, demanding an apology from VDM, who refused. Aisha, reacting on X, supported the Falanas’ decision to challenge the defamation, stressing the importance of protecting one’s reputation while still addressing corruption.
