Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno announced that undergraduate students will receive ₦20,000 monthly, while postgraduate and professional students in fields like medicine, law, engineering, and agriculture will receive ₦30,000. This increase in bursary support starts in the upcoming academic session.
Speaking at a Youths Appreciation Rally in Uyo, Governor Eno also revealed that 21 youths are being trained as engineers in Ethiopia, and over 150 have been trained in agriculture. The state will provide these youths with seedlings and commit to buying their crops when ready for harvest.
