Threat: Turkey Will "Bury" Kurds in Syria

Turkish President Recep Erdogan made a statement in parliament to the Kurdish armed groups in Syria, stressing that they have only two options: lay down their arms or be destroyed.

"The separatist killers will either say goodbye to their weapons, or they will be buried on Syrian lands along with their weapons," he promised.

According to the Associated Press, on December 24, the Kurds launched a counteroffensive against the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army.
