Popular singer David Adeleke, better known as, Davido, has released a fresh official video for DMW’s new recruit, Logos Olori’s debut single titled: ‘Jaye Lo’.
Davido received backlash last month when he first released ‘Jaye Lo’ visuals on social media.
The award-winning singer was criticised by Muslims, most especially northerners, who found some scenes in the visual offensive.
Future Media recalls that in the clip, some men dressed in white Jalabiya were captured dancing in front of a building which looks like a mosque.
Also, the individuals were shown praying before they switched and begin to dance to the rhythm of the song.
However, despite pulling down the video, some Muslims still demanded a public apology from Davido.
Some youths from Maiduguri, Borno state capital, set a large banner of the singer on fire to register their anger.
Also, the controversial Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to probe Davido.
The singer, however, has since kept mum despite the public criticism on social media.
But on Friday, Davido took to his verified social media pages to announce a new music video for ‘Jaye Lo’.
The new clip showed Olori showing off his body and dance moves in the midst of some vixens.
It is worthy of note that the controversial scene from the initial video was taken off by Davido’s DMW.
Describing the latest clip for ‘Jaye Lo’, DMW tagged it as “neat visuals” with a “pleasing style”.
