Students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure(FUTA), today led a protest which restricted movements over the death of a final year Student.
Ayomide Akeredolu, a 500 level Student of the University reportedly collapsed in his hostel room.
According to report, the collapsed Akeredolu was rushed to the University Health Centre, where medical personnel pronounced him dead.
Responding to the sad development, Adegbenro Adebanjo, pointed out that the staged protest by Students was not directly related to the death of the student, but on the misgivings bordering on the University Health centre.
According to a student of the University, the late Akeredolu was rushed to the University Health centre around 8:30,as at the time, the health centre was without electricity supply.
