The federal Ministry of Education has cleared the electricity bill of Ahmadu Bello University, Kano.
In a statement released by the ministry, the Students of the University had been left without Electricity supply, due to the school Management's inability to offset the electricity bill.
The permanent secretary of the ministry, David Adejoh, espoused that the ministry has paid 1billion Naia electricity bill for Ahmadu Bello University.
During an interaction with the committee of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he noted that the students had been studying under the dark.
With this
new development, studying under the dark within the University, is now a
thing of the past.
