Singer Shallipopi has urged fellow musicians to charge based on their worth, linking an artiste's value to their music's success and reach.
In an interview with News Central TV, he argued that Nigerian artistes with streaming numbers similar to American artistes should charge accordingly. He dismissed claims that Nigerian musicians are overpriced, stressing, “If your music reaches the same level as an American artiste, you should charge similarly. But if not, you shouldn’t overcharge.”
