Super Falcons defender Chidinma Okeke has made history as the first Nigerian to join Club América Femenil. The 24-year-old signed with the Mexican club, although contract details remain undisclosed. Okeke previously played for Japan’s Mynavi Sendai, Spain’s Madrid CFF, and Turkey’s Hapoel Be’er Sheva. She also represented Nigeria at the 2024 Paris Olympics, playing in all three group-stage matches, where the Super Falcons were eliminated.
