UNILORIN ELECTS NEW SUG

Leadership representation has been a clarion call to shaping the dynamics of governance in the social space, interacting the values of our given norms as well as guiding ethics to fulfilling sustainability of purpose.

The Students of University of Ilorin today, gathered today to elect a new Student Union President, in the person of Olungundudu Joseph Adesunkanmi. He emerged as the 36th substantive President of UniLorin

Olungundudu Joseph Adesunkanmi popularly known as 'Royal Prince' pulled a total of 3,013 votes, defeating three other contestants. Adesunkanmi defeated Hauwa Usman from the faculty of Law, who pulled a total of 2,527 votes and others.

Shortly after the announcement of the results, Adesunkanmi thanked Unilorites for choosing him, pledging his commitment to the welfare of the students.

Olungundudu Joseph Adesunkanmi is a student of Faculty of Agriculture and he is currently the Secretary of The Students Union Government of UniLorin.
