University grant Parents and guardians online access

The Management of University of Africa Toru- Urua has granted parents and guardians online access to the performance and progress of their wards  in the University, following the digitization of the institution's e-learning system. 

Speaking during a press week organized by Nigeria Union of Journalists, Bayelsa State Council, the deputy-Vice chancellor, Prof Barclays Foubiri Ayakoroma, speaking on a theme: 'Expanding Media Knowledge for Better Information Management in the Niger Delta,Region' proselytized participatory media action, that will enable citizens to access, analyse, build content thus interpreting, building confidence and resistance against fake information.

The Deputy Vice Chancellor also pointed out the relevance of the media to a credible and fair election, this he called on key stakeholders of the state to embark on political sensitization as Bayelsans prepare for the governorship come November 11.
