Controversial social media figure, Very Dark Man (VDM), has publicly apologized to human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), over bribery allegations made against him. VDM had previously shared an audio recording in which Bobrisky allegedly claimed that Falana was working to secure a presidential pardon for him in exchange for ₦10 million.
VDM's apology came during his appearance before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions. He clarified that he did not believe Falana was involved in the alleged bribery and expressed regret for damaging the lawyer’s reputation.
VDM's actions have sparked mixed reactions, with some Nigerians describing his apology as an act of fear, given Falana's legal prowess. The social media critic, known for making controversial statements about religious leaders, has also faced criticism for his attacks on Christian churches and pastors. Many believe his recent legal troubles are a result of his actions against religious figures
