Enyimba FC will face Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco in
the quarterfinals of the African Football League.
This was disclosed shortly after the draw for the
inaugural edition of the competition, which took place at the headquarters of
the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt on Saturday.
The quarterfinals is fixed to be a two legged contest
with the Nigeria Professional Football League Champions.
Enyimba is hosting the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio
International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, while the second leg will be
played in Casablanca.
In other fixtures, Esperance of Tunisia will take on
Congo Democratic Republic side TP Mazembe,while Al Ahly of Egypt will face
Tanzania's Simba and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa will play against Petro
Athletico of Angola.
These competitions will commence in October.
