Italy set to engage Spalleti

Luciano Spalleti has been tipped by Italy's FA(FIGC), to replace Roberto Mancini as the head coach of the men's senior National team. Spalleti has been considered amongst other candidates, due to the resignation of Roberto Mancini last week.

Napoli President, Aurelie De Laurentiis through the club's website has insisted on, not allowing Spalleti to terminate his contract. Having led Napoli to a Successful Serie A title last season, Spalleti left having a release clause of circa €3m.

The FIGC will make a final decision on Spalleti on Friday. However, the Italian tactician has already agreed on his salary and potential staff members.
