Manchester City's Style Doesn't Suit Mbappe

The era of the iconic rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is drawing to a close, and it's time to transition to the next generation.

Experts had considered the possibility of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe playing together in the future.

At one point, there was speculation that Mbappe might move to Manchester City under Pep Guardiola following the transfer market drama.

However, this idea didn't gain much traction for the French star, who has his sights set on Real Madrid.

While the French media and experts are excited to witness their star's remarkable performance, one former player is not keen on seeing Mbappe join the Sky Blues.

Reports considered Kylian Mbappe's potential move to Manchester.

However, French legend Marcel Desailly expressed his disapproval, stating, 'He's a top player, but not suited for Manchester City.

Marcel Desailly, a former World Cup winner with France in 1998, believes that Manchester City's style of play wouldn't suit Mbappe.

If Mbappe struggled to adapt to City's approach, it could affect his confidence.

City's tactics emphasize passing and midfield possession, which contrasts with the style of the PSG star known for his pace, dribbling, and attacking prowess.

Desailly suggests that City's style might not be a good fit for Mbappe, especially alongside Erling Haaland in a treble-winning side.
